🚀 1. Setting Up in 3 Simple Steps
Job Hunter works right alongside you in Google Chrome. You only need to set it up once, and then it assists you automatically whenever you search for jobs.

Open Google Chrome Extensions: Type
chrome://extensionsin your browser address bar and hit Enter. -

Turn on Developer Mode: Click the toggle switch in the upper-right corner of the page.

Load Job Hunter: Click the Load unpacked button in the top-left, and select the folder:

⚙️ 2. How You Apply: Review Mode vs. Auto-Pilot
You can choose how much help you want Job Hunter to give you. Switch between these modes anytime using the buttons at the top of your screen or in the browser icon popup:
⏸️ Pause for Review (Recommended)
Job Hunter finds matching jobs, fills in your contact details, answers screening questions, and pastes your customized cover letter. Then it pauses and rings a chime so you can review everything and click "Submit" yourself. You're always in complete control!
⚡ Auto-Pilot Mode
For jobs where your skills match at 80% or higher, Job Hunter can submit the application automatically. It chimes and shows a desktop notice whenever an application goes out, saving you hours of clicking.

Whenever you search for jobs, Job Hunter reads the job description and compares it directly against your resume:
- 🟢 80% – 100% (Great Match): The role matches your background, title, technical skills, and remote preference closely.
- 🟡 60% – 79% (Good Match): Strong alignment; a great opportunity worth applying for with a tailored pitch.
- ⚪ Below 60% (Low Match): Differing requirements; usually skipped so you don't waste time on poor fits.
